A really spectacular meal! My wife and I started with the Vermont Artisan Cheese Tasting. The cheeses and the "embellishments" were almost a meal onto themselves. We then split the 14 ounce Ribeye. Also delicious! The cocktails were on par. I enjoyed the Corpse Reviver #2 and my wife enjoyed the vodka Collins. Ashley was a great waitstaff! Her suggestions worked out perfectly. We are light eaters but splitting those 2 dishes was quite filling. The Red Rooster stands on its own as a restaurant and isn't just a "hotel restaurant". We were staying at the Woodstock Inn so a bonus not having to go outside for dinner!

We had an excellent dinner. The cioppino was very flavorful as was the mushroom toast. Our service was very attentive and personable. Definitely will be back.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant and this particular experience. Coming from Boston on our way up we hit more traffic than anticipated so we knew we were going to miss our reservation. The restaurant proactively called us and stayed open late to accommodate us. We told them our order and it was prepared while we were in route and they even made more food when we got there. Never once did we feel rushed. The drinks were excellent and the food was perfectly cooked. I am so grateful for this experience. This is why I always return to the Woodstock Inn and The Red Rooster.

Highly overrated. Very slow service. It took 2.5 hours for dinner. Food is average.

Red Rooster was lovely! Went with two small kids and they brought out their food first, cups with lids and straws, and were so kind.

Extremely pleasant experience on a very busy afternoon. Service was outstanding, beginning with the scheduling of the reservation and the staff at the restaurant working to accommodate us. Our meals were excellent!
