- RRonSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 13, 2025We made dinner reservations for 3:45pm and were promptly seated. Very good time as restaurant had a calming ambience before the crowds. Nice place with multiple seating areas from front to back. We were seated in Dinning Room which is 1/2 through the restaurant. We started with their Appetizer Platter & bottle of Italian red wine (Delacorte). Of course it was a delicious blend that our waiter Nathan said was popular with guests. For Entrees we enjoyed their Scallops (including a selection of local fish from the Gulf), and Lasagna Bologne. They were both hot and delicious. Of course everything about the dining out experience is strongly influenced by the staff employed, and our Server Nathan was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly & actually appeared to enjoy working there! We’d definitely return next time - this place is a welcome alternative from our “rushed” dining experiences back home in San Diego.More infoRiondo's RistorantePrice: Moderate• Italian• Galveston•4.7

Discover Galveston
This popular Gulf Coast town of Galveston is a solid choice for great seafood. This island city features innovative offerings such as entrees of sautéed shrimp and Andouille sausage prepared with cheesy grits and topped with an in-house Creole sauce alongside freshly cut asparagus. Elsewhere on the island, enjoy a regional favorite, cornmeal-fried catfish. The fish is dredged in a home-made fine cornmeal and lightly fried. It is then served with sides of truffle fries, au gratin potatoes or creamed spinach. Gumbo is another local favorite. Order a spicy bowl of shrimp, chicken or sausage, simmering in a crab broth and topped with a ball of steamed white rice. With Mexican, Italian, pub cuisine and casual dining all present, Galveston has something for every appetite.
