Central Wyoming Restaurants

There's more variety in Wyoming than you might think, from the high plains of central Wyoming to the mountains of Jackson Hole. There is a great combination of "ski lodge" dining experiences but also many high-end options for a fine dining experience. Game meats are quite popular throughout the state, so be certain to try the local cowboy cooking. The buffalo is especially popular, as is the elk gravy. There are also several European-style bistros in the Jackson Hole area for Italian and French favorites. Freshwater fish is also a local specialty. The incredible views of the plains and the Grand Tetons add something special to the dining experience.
