Treated to a Southeast Asia menu and enjoyed everything we ordered. Brought our 2.5 year old and was thankful for the nearby field to run through when he got too crazy. In case you're curious or concerned, there are no farm animals (at least that we saw) and it is in no way a dusty barn experience. Discover Northern Wisconsin
A popular outdoor getaway destination in the summer, Northern Wisconsin also features a variety of fine eateries. At gracious sit-down dining establishments, menu options include steak entrees with selected medallion cuts of tenderloin sautéed in creamy butter with scallions, fresh mushrooms and a dash of garlic and herbs. Elsewhere, the traveler can find authentic diner fare. Enjoy a juicy hamburger made with an house-ground two-patty burger, fried onions and pickles, double cheese, ketchup and mustard served on a fresh-baked hard roll. Leave room for a frosty ice cream shake for dessert. You can also enjoy a classic Friday fish fry with North Atlantic cod served with corn fritters, coleslaw and French fries. Northern Wisconsin offers more than cozy cabins in the woods.
