- EElizaPhoenix / Arizona •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024The lamb and sea bass entrees were delicious! The lemon crème brûlée was one of the best deserts I’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent and attentive, and the pomegranate margaritas were a treat. The space is lush and pretty. I do suggest they dim the overhead lights, which were very bright, and consider adding candies (led even) for ambience.More infoMezcla RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Mexican / Regional American (Southwestern)• Las Cruces / Mesilla•4.6

Discover Southern New Mexico
Tourists may come to southern New Mexico for the abundant hiking opportunities, but its cuisine also attracts visitors. Mexican and New Mexican cuisines are huge draws. Try the sopaipilla, a fried pastry stuffed with meat or refried beans, smothered with cheese and chile sauce, and served with Spanish rice. For lighter fare, consider soft blue corn tacos made with cheddar cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce and lean ground beef or shredded chicken. Traditional New Mexican food like green chile stew is also available. This soup-like dish is loaded with roasted green chile, pork, and potatoes, and it makes a hearty, savory meal by itself.
