- CCourtneyPittsburgh / Western PA •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024My boyfriend & I booked a private igloo. I'm not sure that we will book it again because the reservation of $50 doesn't really get you much besides a tiny space with a heater. It doesn't get applied to your meal so you are paying separately for that. Meanwhile, staff was friendly and food was fantastic. The truffle fries w/ garlic dip were perfect. We purchased a wine flight which was also very much so enjoyable. If we drive up again, we will probably just eat inside instead of paying for an igloo. The idea is nice, but it didn't quite justify the extra $50. All in all, a good date night regardless.More infoBella Terra Vineyards- BedfordPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Bedford•4.2
Discover Bedford
Bedford is the home of the National Coverlet Museum, which is housed in a building built in 1859. Downtown Bedford is also home to the Pitt Theatre, Pennsylvania’s oldest operating movie theater. The community offers sports bars, wine tasting, and taverns, where you could try a locally made ale and pair it with a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, beer-battered onion rings, or buffalo chicken wings. At several bistros, you can try vegan wraps that are filled with ingredients like mushrooms, spinach, red onions, cabbage, and carrots. The local tuna melt served on ciabatta bread is equally delicious. For an elegant dinner for two, visit one of the community's upscale Italian restaurants and order a plate of tagliatelle al sugo di lepre or gnocchi di ricotta dressed in butter.
