An understandably shortish menu still manages to blend excellent pub food staples with a handful of more innovative starters and mains. There are also several delicious bar snacks to enjoy while deciding on bigger dishes from the menu. When we lunched there were only a few diners and so chef and server were not under pressure. Our server was very pleasant and happy to talk with us.
