   From our experience i don't think you would be disappointed with choosing the Continental. Everything we wanted for a higher end dinner.

   My wife and I went here for my 45th bday and it might of been one of the best meals we have ever had. That is saying a lot because we live in Boston and have also traveled all over the globe. We had the duck and it was prepared right at our table. If you are on the fence don't be. This is a must experience restaurant.

   My family and I traveled from Kingston, Ontario, to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I was looking forward to a memorable dining experience. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance, and the service was good, but I couldn’t help but compare it to the incredible breakfast we enjoyed earlier that day at a local spot, which truly surprised us. While the food was very good, I was a bit disappointed that my special day didn’t feel as celebrated as I had hoped. I had mentioned in my notes that we were celebrating my milestone birthday, but aside from a small piece of ice cream cake with a candle at the end of the meal, there wasn’t much acknowledgment. The waiter didn’t even wish me a happy birthday, which made the experience feel less personal than I expected. Sometimes, we don’t realize where we’ll find true amazing experiences, and unfortunately, the price we paid didn’t match the overall experience. It was a nice meal, but it didn’t quite capture the excitement I was hoping for on such a significant occasion.

   We've been walking by Le Continental for a decade without considering. My wife and her friend gave it a shot and had an amazing experience. Would highly recommend!!

   we splurged and chose to spend New Years Eve at the gala with great excitement and high expectations for a memorable evening with friends. We ALL were very disappointed. To begin, the event was presented as an elegant, black tie celebration to welcome the new year. While the ball room is a lovely, gracious venue, there was not one thing added to delineate it as a special place for NEW YEARS EVE. Table settings held a simple vase with one lonely white large mum flower. The performance stage looked like it belonged in a mediocre disco club. But the most egregious thing of all was the promised music...that too belonged in a low end disco. The single performer accompanied by a drummer and canned music was talented. The problem was that the volume during the "dining period" was so OVERLY LOUD that conversation had to be shouted ...not appropriate for elegant, fine dining. When asked to make an adjustment, the manager claimed that they were unsure of what they should be doing as they hoped to encourage dancing.. at the time he said this, the dance floor was empty as it continued to be during most of the time during dinner service. There was such a misjudgment of their audience - the majority of guests were white haired, older folk including our party. While we enjoy dancing and partying, (and we did), not while trying to enjoy an elegant 6 course dinner. As to the arrival of the New Year, again, they completely missed the boat..no celebratory hats, streamers, recognitions of the moment..yes these can be cheesy and garish but with a little research, fun, elegant items are available and should have been included at such a supposed HIGH END event. (at a similar celebration, all we guests received miniature clocks along with our party hats...tres chic, etc). Clearly no effort nor thought was placed in planning and then implementing an ELEGANT GALA celebration of the New Year. Unfortunate - a GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT . Not the standard of Chte. Frontenac.

   Absolutely a delicious and memorable experience! Highly recommend this special venue that prepares and flambé’s food at your table. Servers are in white coats & bow ties with the exceptional service to match! Expensive, but worth it for a special event or night out. Bon Appétit!
