Signature Dish: Experience our iconic Beef Negimayaki, a dish that originated right here at Nippon and has since become a global favorite. One of the best vegan/vegetarian meals in the city. Everything was meticulously prepared and highly flavored. Incredible performance by the chef! To top it off our waitress was so attentive, thinking about what we could need before our asking. And always so pleasant. Great great value!!!! We will see you again soon!!!!

Friendly staff. Authentic, delicately prepared Japanese cuisine. You get what you pay for. We topped off our meal with delicious dessert and were pleasantly surprised when they took it off the bill, knowing that we were celebrating our birthdays. It was a nice touch. They paid attention to the reservation notes!

Nippon is the greatest. The soba is the best in NYC and a bargain at that. The sushi is traditional and wonderful. The service is perfect and very respectful. The restaurant floor is split into sections so you don’t have to yell to be heard by your companions or get bumped into by the next over table. AWESOME ‼️

The food was good. I had Shokado Bento Box. The price? I think overall foods are overpriced. My guest had a Sushi lunch. That was $60 worth $40 at most. My lunch box was $45 worth $25-30 at most. I looked at the pictures before going to the restaurant; therefore, I knew the prices. I reconfirmed my sense of monetary value to the dishes today. Maybe I am a cheap person, but I don't think so.

Everything great except the table for us was very narrow , can’t go in smoothly, i wish they had better sashimi too.
