    I recently visited Kost to celebrate my birthday, and while I appreciated the ambiance, food, and overall atmosphere, my experience was unfortunately overshadowed by poor service. From the beginning, our server was noticeably unwelcoming. There was no greeting or acknowledgment—he simply arrived at our table and began serving water without a word. When we placed our order, I asked for a couple of recommendations, only to be met with a curt response directing me to the menu. The most disappointing moment came when we inquired about dessert. Instead of a polite response, the server rudely stated that we would have to pay for it. While I had no issue paying, the tone and delivery were unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand that policies may change, as I recall receiving a complimentary dessert on a previous visit. However, the way this was communicated made the experience feel unwelcoming, which was disappointing on a special occasion. I hope the restaurant addresses such service issues to maintain the high standards expected from a venue like Kost.

    I had a great experience at Kost! Our server Arjun was amazing. Food and views were great as well. Highly recommend.

    I have been here multiple times and it's always been excellent. One of the best brunch places downtown.

    We loved everything about our meal at KŌST. Service was friendly and quick. We had a phenomenal view of the CN tower. We had brunch and everything was delicious and presentation was beautiful.

    Food was delicious. We celebrated our anniversary and got a surprise dessert on the house. However, menu options were very few. Wish there were more. Overall good experience and amazing views.

    Kōst is always a pleasure to visit with stunning views, great food and service! I keep coming back for brunch and it's such a good choice for celebrating any kind of events.

    Eggs Benedict was the best I ever had! Must try with lobster salad! Overall was a great experience with wonderful views and even better meals!

    Would have been a 5-star when I knew there was an party/event today. It was so loud for my family but the service, the staff, and food were superb

    Hotel and hostess staff were great and the food was great - all as usual. My waiter was special. After asking by name twice and being told I was getting Prosecco - I had to open the menu and show him the name of the wine I wanted a glass of. When I was done eating, someone cleared my plate and glass, and the waiter was another 5 minutes before he came back to see if I needed anything. I asked for the bill and for change for a 20. He said he would check on the change. He came back with the bill and the machine. And he said he could make change. But then walked away - instead of making change with the 20 I had in my hand. Luckily my neighbour was just as co fused by the exchange and was able to make change.
