We went to Olia to celebrate our anniversary. We have been avid goers of Uccellino and loved it so we were excited for the re-brand in a bigger space. The usual dishes (whipped goat ricotta, culatello, etc.) were all amazing as always, and the space is beautiful. Hopefully it was just a one off for this night, but we were incredibly disappointed in the service. Beyond the hello and taking our orders and picking up plates, there was no personal touch to the service at all. Typically servers ask about your night, if you're celebrating anything, etc. but she really did not seem to care about our experience. The Ragu, which is one of our favorite dishes, came out cold. The other two pastas we had came out hot which was good; the chestnut agnolotti was 10/10 but the crab and potato ravioli was a little fishy for our taste. Service was incredibly slow. We sat down for our reso at 7:45 and ordered our food as soon as the drinks hit the table (although we were ready to order and would have liked the server to ask if we were ready to order food when she took the drink orders, but she seemed in a hurry). Our first main dish hit the table at 8:58 PM. The food is incredible, but the service was definitely really disappointing, especially considering we spent over $200 and chose this place to celebrate a big milestone. Hopefully this is just a nuance with a new opening, but it definitely left us a little let down as big fans of this restaurant.

Food was delicious as always! Service was a bit lacking and very sporadic. The dinning room was also much louder than the last time I was there. The music seemed to be quite loud.

Our first time at Olia did not disappoint. We wanted to try so many dishes - so we did! We tried the Arancini (crusty on the inside, perfectly cooked on the inside), Whipped Goat Ricotta (ah…yum!), Castelfranco salad (loved the apples and roasted hazelnuts) and Beef tartar (oh my gosh, so delicious). Then we HAD to try four pasta dishes. In order of our favourites: the clear winner was the Chestnut Agnolotti (OMG, that divine heavenly filling cannot be overstated), the Pappardelle al Ragù (duck), (wow, wow, wow), the Tagliatelle ‘Verde’ (really flavorful) and finally the Gnocchi (it was our least favourite but still delicious). We wanted to try the Pollo al Mattone (1/2 cooked chicken - which was moist and tasty) and the Brodetto di Pesce (sablefish, prawns, scallops and clams). We were so full and happy. It was an incredible experience, and we will be back.

Really warm vibe, feels rich without being stuffy or uncomfortable. The big open room would make you think it would be hard to have a conversation but somehow there was still a quiet bubble at our table to have an intimate conversation. Excellent food (everything stands out) and a nice selection of cocktails and wine, of course. Made us feel special for the birthday we were celebrating. It may not be everyone’s preference but I appreciated there not being a special feature. The menu is so good you don’t need it.

I had a wonderful date night at Olia. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a romantic evening. The food was absolutely delicious, and our waiter was exceptional—explaining the menu in detail and ensuring we were well taken care of. A great spot for amazing food and top-notch service. Magnificent. If anything, it is even better than its predecessor restaurant, Uccellino. Best food and service in town. And the vibe at the new location is exceptional. It’s exciting and the menu is special, very innovative and perfectly executed. Every bite was exquisite. We have had the privilege of travelling extensively and Olia rivals the best restaurants anywhere.
