La Cremaillere is a French fine dining restaurant since 1947 located in an original 1750 farmhouse.

Located about 40 miles north of Manhattan, a stone's throw from Greenwich, Connecticut.

La Cremaillere restaurant has an intimate and European decor with a fresh approach to the hallmarks of quintessential French cooking and dining.

                                                    Wow! So impressed! The appetizers were just okay, but the entrees were truly spectacular! My table ordered, the lamb, beef, duck and sole and each dish was perfection! This place is such a gem!

                                                    We love it there.Its been a family tradition to go for special occasions for years. The staff was kind and helpful and the food was lovely.

                                                    The table where we were seated was near the far wall in the main room... I understand it's an old house/ building, but I was on a ~30-degree tilt when I sat back in the chair. Total uneven floor and there should not be a table there OR there should be a remedy.

                                                    We came for Valentines at mid day after looking at the menu on line. When we got there it turned out the midday menu was different from the dinner menu. We did enjoy our lunch but we would have preferred knowing there was a difference in the two seatings when making our decisions.

                                                    Exemplary service, outstanding food. LaCremaillere is a place of excellence. From the front door onward, their expertise in hospitality and food is apparent. We had a truly wonderful meal, expertly prepared and served.
