La Cremaillere is a French fine dining restaurant since 1947 located in an original 1750 farmhouse.

Located about 40 miles north of Manhattan, a stone's throw from Greenwich, Connecticut.

La Cremaillere restaurant has an intimate and European decor with a fresh approach to the hallmarks of quintessential French cooking and dining.

                                                    We love it there.Its been a family tradition to go for special occasions for years. The staff was kind and helpful and the food was lovely.

                                                    We came for Valentines at mid day after looking at the menu on line. When we got there it turned out the midday menu was different from the dinner menu. We did enjoy our lunch but we would have preferred knowing there was a difference in the two seatings when making our decisions.

                                                    Exemplary service, outstanding food. LaCremaillere is a place of excellence. From the front door onward, their expertise in hospitality and food is apparent. We had a truly wonderful meal, expertly prepared and served.

                                                    Celebrated our 30th Anniversary with a group of friends, some hadn’t been at restaurant for ten years. The evening was extraordinary for wide selection of wines and the stellar menu. Every dish was better than the previous, ended the experience with Pistachio Soufflé. Service from car valet to coat check all part of the perfection but the dining service was led by John Parro who particularly shines. We will return soon.

                                                    Wonderful menu. Such a treat to have a classic French restaurant with fine cuisine, an excellent, affordable wine list to suit the delicious preparations and an authentic, romantic atmosphere in our "neighborhood." La Cremaillere is perfect for special occasions and celebrations or for making even an ordinary night special. The iles flottantes is the best we have ever had, bar none!
