   Loved Tessa! She was not only an exceptional server, but went above and beyond with our boys. Also, the food was great, as always, especially the marinara on the meatballs.

   Beautiful restaurant but definitely not worth the price. At 6:45 PM they were out of 2 different appetizers, the 11 oz filet, and 1 of the 4 desserts. Steaks were dry and and overcooked. Waiter was very pleasant but had to be reminded to bring things we requested. 2 drinks that were just "ok" were $52.00. My Dad ordered coffee at the end of the meal and it never came. Happy to pay a hefty price for an outstanding meal, but Rick Erwins fell extremely short. Totally bummed because I had heard great things.

   I loved this location the first time we went a year ago. However, we weren't too impressed this time, a year later. The music was VERY loud and we couldn't hear each other talk. We asked twice to have it turned down, to no avail. IMO they should play background jazz, but this was top hits and too loud. The menu is a la carte but when the steaks were FINALLY ready, the sides were not, so we canceled them. The crab cake that I had was not very tasty but my steak was good. I asked for crispy outside rare inside but it wasn't that. The price was way too high for what we got. My friend's bison steak was overcooked and not very tasty. They did comp us the bison steak, took the sides off and comped us free desserts, so I guess we are happy overall, but we probably won't go back to that location. A plus was that we did meet Rick Erwin who was walking around checking on tables. We told him our concerns and he gave us free desserts which were good, but not as good as a year ago when we had the best carrot cake ever. This time was not as good, but it was free.

   We all enjoyed our dinner at Ric Erwin! Shannon did an excellent job of serving us! We were celebrating a birthday and we had a wonderful time! We have never been disappointed when dining at Ric Erwin Eastside!

   Christina is always the best and treat us like family! Tessa took very good care of us as always! It always are great night out but what sets it apart from all the others is is the personal touch as Mr. Erwin still checks on his customers! See you all again soon!

    I had the scallops and they were probably the best I've ever had. I loved the atmosphere- not very big, cozy. It was Valentine's Day and they made it really special.
