   Lovely brunch surprise with D.F. (It was his spur of the moment idea!) He got his usual chicken and waffles breakfast while I took in the delicious short rib risotto. A view of the beautiful churning of the reservoir in wintry weather and being nicely taken care of by the always suave Mr. Lonnie made for a wonderful after-church meal.

   Was able to get a booth quickly. Server was prompt and friendly.Food came out within 8-10 minutes of ordering. Food quality was good. Great experience!

   Valentines dinner, wife ordered the Filet medium. Came rare, sent it back and it came back med rare. Decided to just have it comped and leave. They made it a third time and it STILL wasn’t cooked medium. Probably our last visit even though the manager was very accommodating.

   The food was good it was the service was very slow! Quite unusual for Ricks! I love the place and the wait staff was very friendly just very slow service!

   Lovely dining experience at Rick's Boatyard Cafe. Our server was on top of everything, food was served quickly. Love all the options on the menu, something for everyone.

   I love that they decorate for holidays and really make things like Valentine’s Day feel extra special. Plus excellent service and amazing food!

    We have dinned at Rick’s many many times and always enjoyed it. That being said tonight, Valentine’s Day 2025 was an awful experience. The service was great and the food good. However, management decided to open the banquet room up to accommodate more people and more $$$. The atmosphere was awful, think Golden Coral, and the noise level was unbearable. We are experienced dinners and typically enjoy the food and atmosphere at Rick’s. Atmosphere being an important element of a dinning experience. Being seated in the upstairs banquet room was not what we expected when making our reservations two weeks in advance. This is fine for large groups, not a couple wanting a nice dining experience. Too bad.
