   Came with friends for NYE. Overall our food was fantastic. 2 of us ordered the special main lobster but they ran out so we got 2 of the smaller tails which ended up being a lot and they gave us a better price. Well worth it. Steaks were cooked great, sides were great, deserts were great. We had carrot cake and it was amazing. Service was a little slow, but they were busy. We ordered an appetizer and it never arrived. Drinks were slow. The vibes of the upstairs room are a bit cheap, but we had a nice time

   Food was amazing and seasoned just right. It was a packed night so service was a bit slower than usual but that is to be expected. Our waitress was so nice and did a great job! Good atmosphere and appreciated the new year decor.

   Our food was good and our waitress was excellent but dining at Rick’s on NYE was not enjoyable. We had 7:00 reservations and without asking us they walked us completely thru the inside and seated us at a plastic table to sit on plastic chairs by plastic covered windows on the cold and drafty porch. We didn’t ask to be moved because it was a holiday and the restaurant was packed. Like everyone else we were dressed for New Years to eat inside in a festive atmosphere. We felt like we were eating in a garage in the winter with a few pieces of garland on the wall. For reservations it’s inexcusable to assume in the winter guests would choose wearing their winter coats while dining outside over eating with the holiday decor inside the restaurant.

   Rick's is an annual NYE tradition for us. A perfect place to get dressed up and celebrate!

   We’re frequent diners at Rick’s and our experience was fine as usual. The new decor is great and food was good. For the cost I’ve had much better but it was served promptly and was good and hot! Ross, our waiter was outstanding being both friendly and professional. He wasn’t intrusive and knew when to come and refresh but gave us our space to visit and chat with friends! One thing I’d say is that it was somewhat loud and it was hard to hear conversations. They were playing music which should’ve been in background but volume was turned up. Which made people feel as if they needed to speak louder to be heard, resulting in a challenging auditory experience! My husband is hearing impaired and found the experience to be quite unpleasant! They need to rethink, perhaps putting baffles on ceiling, which may help since their so high!

    Wanted to take our family from out of town to Ricks for the view of Eagle Creek. Rick’s is fairly good. Asked for a medium to rare burger and it always comes out well done. Rick’s is better than it was 20 years ago but they could do better.
