In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.

    Our restaurant is ideally appointed for weddings and special occasions for up to 110 people. Let us create a spectacular and memorable meal to delight and impress your guests. Everything from cocktails and canapes to a four course feast can be tailored to your particular needs. A semi private area of the restaurant is available nightly for groups of approximately 20 people.

    Sensational food and even better service. We had such a fun time, I think we closed the place down. The atmosphere was lovely (kid friendly, but was still quiet), the fireplace, and decor was classic PNW / BC. Our waiter, Raul, took such great care of us. The restaurant was out of the wine we wanted and so he found alternatives to help us find a better one. He even added a discount for the trouble, which we totally didn’t expect. His timing was perfection and he was so easy to talk to throughout the night. It really made an exceptional experience that much better. Highly recommend, will be back again!

    As always, lovely professional service!! Beautifully plated and delicious food!! Nice selection of wines, but they are a little pricey. Cozy atmosphere, friendly vibe. Amazing ceviche appie!!! We try and visit at least one time a ski season!!

    Our family had a fabulous dinner with great food and service. The Lobster Thermidor special was perfectly done. My husband’s venison special was excellent also. Loved the dessert sampler! Haven’t seen that on a menu before, great idea. We had oysters, caviar, caesar salad, blue cheese salad, sear fois gras and steak tartar, all were yummy. Excellent service as well. Our server was knowledgable and super friendly. Overall a great night and would easily recommend Rim Rock. A tradition we have loved for years and will continue to! Just wish they would consider corkage so we could bring a special bottle now and again.

    This is our 2nd year coming back to the Rimrock Cafe. While the ambience (by the fireplace), the host check in (speedy elegant) and our server (Paula, so kind and attentive) are impeccable, we are really there for the FOOD. My youngest son has been talking about the venison last year (he got a bite of his brother’s) and this year he got a whole mixed grill to himself! He also loved the scallops (got one of mine) and everyone loved the spicy cauliflower. My husband got the seafood trio and didn’t leave a scrap. My older son ate his mixed grill including all the grilled vegetables and the mashed potatoes and carrot puree. Rimrock Cafe is always our first stop in Whistler!

    My favourite place to eat in creekside. Beautiful small menu with perfect portion sizes. Can’t wait to return again .

    Amazing menu lots of great wines and our fav place in whistler- it was a busy night so meals were a little slow getting g Tony’s and the shrimp Part of my meal was charred over grilled and tasted burnt unfortunately- the rest of the seafood trip was awesome but I would not have served the burnt shrimp- it was obvious to the eye

    Simply the best restaurant in Whistler! Every thing was perfection. Highly recommended the scallop appetizers and lamb rack main course. Thank you for a fantastic evening.

    Food is usually exquisite, we love eating here. this time around the quality was not quite as expected. Hopefully its just a one off.
