Rizzuto's Oyster Bar and Restaurant - Westport, CT offers private and festive Igloo dining, as well as comfortable and inviting indoor dining. The restaurant combines a warm urban environment and genuine hospitality with market-fresh fish, it's Lobster Shack lobster rolls that were recently voted Westport's best, our signature crab cake, a raw bar, prime steaks, pasta, and Neapolitan wood-fired pizza. Rizzuto's focuses on seasonal ingredients, simple preparations and great value. Rizzuto’s is a community driven restaurant and gathering destination for everyone to enjoy a great dining experience.
Located in the Saugatuck neighborhood of Westport, CT Rizzuto’s is across from the Saugatuck River. The restaurant boasts a large bar and lounge and the main dining room features an open kitchen and a grand stone fireplace. A large patio overlooks the Saugatuck neighborhood and the tranquil river.

The crab cakes are the real deal. All crab. No fillers. The linguini and clams is so fresh. I felt I was on the Amalfi coast. Just the right amount and not drowning in broth or butter. Perfect. Cocktails well done and service attentive and knowledgeable. Seafood is fresh and well cooked. Having the wood burning option really lends to the flavor of the foods and differentiation. The igloos are great for winter outdoor dining too. Cozy and private

The waiter was great talking about service but the only trouble we had was when I made the reservation no body told me that the kitchen close early so when we arrive to the restaurant the time to order was 5 min cause the kitchen was about to close but everything else was fine

A nice place to take the family and kids. The wood pizza oven is grand and also the the outdoor igloos. I think it’s a place best for pizza even they have seafood and oysters

Excellent salmon and swordfish. Delicious eggplant parm and chicken Marsala. Great pizza. Beautiful holiday decor.

Upon walking in, the restaurant is very nice and the fireplace is beautiful. It was very nicely decorated but let’s talk about the food. Order oysters and we did not like them the taste was add, I wouldn’t order them again. The calamari was good the portion was on the smaller size however they were priced accordingly. We also order the lobster roll with was good but I won’t say it was amazing. All of the food came out super fast, the appetizers came out with our drinks and 10 minutes later our entrails were out. We were literally at the restaurant for not even 40 minutes. We drove all the way from NJ because of the great reviews.

My wife and I had dinner at Rizzuto's late Sunday afternoon and the food and service was very good. The problem was even though the fireplace in the main dining room was blazing and the pizza oven was on full, we were cold. Granted it was a cold afternoon with a temperature in the 20's it was uncomfortable. We asked to be seated closer to the fireplace but were advised that they were unavailable even though there were only 2 other tables occupied in the whole dining room. Some of the waiters were wearing padded vests to keep warm. We had to leave before dessert.
