    Dinner with visiting co-worker. Excellent acoustics and atmosphere in bar dining area. Service was attentive and the food ( wrapped figs, fettuccine carbonara, arraciotta), and Martini was excellent.

    We love Roberto’s but the gentleman singing was WAY too loud. The restaurant was hopping and had a great vibe but he had his microphone turned up WAY too high and it was annoying and you couldn’t hear each other over him. As a side note, people ask him to sing Happy Birthday and he said no! What the heck? He is an entertainer. Food was good, waiter was good—love Roberto’s but last night was a disappointment on the ambience!

    The three of us dining had great salads with protein. Everything was fresh, and delicious. Our waitstaff was attentive, but not hovering over us. We took all of the time we wanted to visit, make our choices and ask questions about preparation. It was delightful.

    The wrong filet order came out, and then when the right one did come out, it was medium rare, not medium well. It was New Years Eve, so I'd cut them some slack. It's usually better.
