The bright dining room is a comfortable spot to unwind, the space decorated in understated colours and peppered with talking point traditional arts and crafts all the way from Thailand while the front of house staff are beautifully turned out, super-polite and always ready and willing to talk you through the extensive Royal Siam menu. All traditionally Thai, Royal Siam’s food is not only tasty but healthy too, made up of fresh, delicious ingredients low in fat and cooked without additives or unnatural flavourings, with minimal oil and absolutely no monosodium glutamate. Ranging from curries to grilled dishes and stir fries, the Royal Siam menu caters for all tastes and dietary requirements, with plenty of excellent vegetarian options as well as the numerous meat based choices.

Run by a family who are half Thai and half Bangladeshi. We had a mixture of dishes (prawns, beef, chicken, noodles, rice, vegetables). All dishes cooked well, but lacking the real punch of authentic Thai food - more spices needed. Service very attentive and friendly.

Lovely local restaurant with excellent service. We had set menu which was very adequate, only issue would be that there were not enough rice/noodles. Will definitely revisit, food was fresh and tasty and the staff were a delight.

This meal was meant to be a romantic night out on Valentines day. Firstly they told me they DO NOT check the top table reservations and i nearly didn't have a table. Then when we did get a table the starter took over 45 mins to arrive we were given hot plates for our mains and then 20 mins later the food arrived therefore our plates were cold. Altough we got an apology at the time this really is unacceptable on such a busy evening. (the restuarant wasn't very full either). However the food was lovely.

What a strange dining experience it was if the staff were being observed and marked for their service and every now and then a oriental waitress popped up at our table smiling and staring at us speaking a language we did not understand it was very unnerving. The food was ok apart from the honey ribs which were fatty and chewy The English woman who took our order appeared to be in charge and kept telling the waitress what to do I don't think we would eat there again as much as the decor is lovely the staff were not engaging but overall the value of the meal was good. It looked like they had regular customers so maybe it was a off night for them

The best Thai food I have eaten outside of Thailand. Authentic cuisine, cooked to perfection. Absolutely wonderful staff. Can't wait to get back there. Hidden gem! X

The best thing about this Restaurant is the decor. Beautifully decorated and with a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. However, the food was poor in comparison with, say, Wagamama's, who offer a similar menu. It stands our as a charming place to eat in a very poor and depressing area. We had honey ribs and Dim Sum for our starters. The dumplings were a disappointment and the ribs were chewy undercooked on the whole. The Massuman curry was tasty but the Thai Green Curry was watery and lacked flavour. The Staff were friendly and attentive but came over as being rather amateurish and lacking in proper training. For example we had to ask for a finger bowl with the ribs - something that should have been anticipated No return visit planned.

What a Little Gem!! Had an excellent meal, service was great, food was lovely. We will def be visiting again!!
