    Slow inattentive waiter rarely checked in on us. Took 30 minutes to get the bill after finished. Another 15 to settle the bill.

    Roy’s Waikiki exceeded my expectations with its excellent service and outstanding food. Our server was incredibly attentive, offering great recommendations that truly enhanced the dining experience. We started with the edamame, which was simple yet delicious—perfectly seasoned and a great way to begin the meal. The highlight, though, was the Mahi Mahi. It was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had. The fish was cooked to perfection—flaky, tender, and full of flavor. The sauce that accompanied it complemented the dish beautifully, elevating every bite. Overall, Roy’s Waikiki delivered in every aspect—exceptional service, a great atmosphere, and unforgettable food. I’d definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Waikiki.

    Unfortunately this Roy’s experience was not as good as in the many past visits. The signature fresh catch macadamia crusted mahi mahi was over cooked and dry. The wine list was so limited, only 1 Roy’s propriety Chardonnay by the glass to select.

    We had a fabulous experience at Roy’s. Best meal we have had in our week in Waikiki. Service was outstanding. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the butterfish, hubby had the grilled tiger shrimp. Can’t recall name of the dish the other couple ordered - a mix of shrimp tempura, short ribs, sushi roll and another item. Our drinks were also amazing - Hawaiian martinis and Mai tais. Highly recommend Roy’s.

    Food was excellent as always and service was exceptional. Staff were very friendly, accommodating, and professional. It was so nice and quiet that we all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and will be sure to return.
