    We went to Roy's, as we usually do when in Waikiki, because my wife loves the Butterfish and Dragon roll. Although they are still quite good, the prices have ballooned. It now costs $60 for the Butterfish, and the portion is not at all large. Our service was initially good, but then our waiter disappeared for nearly 30 minutes, and we had to go to the front to let the staff know. Even though the food is still very good, it is hard to justify $100 for a small piece of fish, one sushi roll, and a Mai Tai.

    For the most part, the meal was OK. The crabcake appetizers was the best part of the meal. My order was the tuna which was old and not fresh. My wife had white fish which she enjoyed, but it was simply too much food. The service was excellent.

    Roy’s never disappoints. Atmosphere, service, wine and food were great! A bit noisy but that’s to be expected. It was early..6:00 PM. We’ll be back

    Too loud inside for the two of us to conduct any kind of conversation. It was terrible. We left after half our salad. Will never return.
