   We love Roy’s and go on every visit to the Big Island. We have food allergies and have found that Roy’s will make accommodations that we need. Their new menu has gluten free items clearly marked. Our server was knowledgeable and took great care of us. He went back to the kitchen and checked on any questions we had. I had the snapper and shrimp with rice instead of polenta. It was excellent. My husband always has the butterfish. Several in our party had the chocolate soufflé for dessert, but I had guava sorbet since I’m also dairy free. We had a great meal, with great service.

   We’ve been eating at Roy’s Waikoloa every couple of years when we are in town since 2000. It is always the family favorite, and rare to see a restaurant maintain high standards over that period of time. Highly recommended!

   The service was attentive and personal. The kids meal was great, and had multiple courses. Our picky eaters really enjoyed their meals.

   We visit Roy’s multiple times on our annual vacation to Hawaii. I’ve never given it anything other than 5 stars. Last night was a 6 star experience. We were slightly disappointed to see a different menu and no sushi at the Waikoloa location. Other than that, perfection.

   Food was amazing and the service was spectacular. Volume for the music is a tad loud but other than that it was great!

    Roy’s is continuing to work on their menu. New items that are delicious include the shrimp appetizer and the special of the evening which was a delicious steak with little fingerling potatoes made into potato chips. The Romain salad seemed particularly fresh and wonderful last night. The salmon is a favorite of mine and it also seem to be especially good. So nice to see they are keeping up the good work .
