   First time at RPM with my brother and we both enjoyed it. I thought the cocktail presentation was average. I think a more unique or exciting vessel along with more interesting presentation would elevate the cocktails. The hosts seemed somewhat arrogant and didn’t even apologize after we had to wait 15 minutes after our reservation had started. Our server was fantastic (blonde mid length hair, beard, first floor) he was very kind and attentive. The food was excellent and the timing of service was too. Well done to the kitchen staff for such a seamless experience on a very busy holiday. Thanks!

   I was told that there were no standard seats so they made me sit at the bar, but actually after I sat down I saw a lot of standard seats, but they said that I had already sat down so they wouldn't let me change seats, which is cheating

   It was lovely to spend thanksgiving there and we were so grateful for the staff. I will say it was sooooo slow on lead times. It would’ve been better if it was quicker paced

   The thanksgiving dinner concept was great. The tenderloin and the lobster bisque was really good. Salad tasted horrible (too salty?), stuffing tasted horrible and the carrot cake dessert was also really bad - the cake tasted stale and dry. Overall, for the amount of money paid, all food items should have been really good.

   My husband and I enjoyed an amazing Thanksgiving dinner yesterday at RPM Steak. The entire experience was top notch. From the ambiance to the service to the cocktails and wine to the delicious food to the meticulous timing and orchestration, we could not have been more impressed. And unlike last year at Prime & Provisions (excellent food and service as well), we were not limited to a rushed 90 minute seating. To the contrary, everything was leisurely, calming, and paced to our liking and comfort. Now on to the food. We both started with the harvest salad, which was tasty, zesty, and refreshing. Followed by possibly the best lobster bisque soup either of us have ever had. For our entrees, my husband had the halibut and I had the turkey (roasted white meat, fried dark meat). Both were superb. High quality ingredients and skillful preparation. The meal also included three sides. The mashed potatoes and bread stuffing were outstanding, the green bean casserole was just okay. Perhaps for future Thanksgiving meals, they may want to offer patrons a selection of five or six sides, for which each table selects three. For our desserts, my husband had the carrot cake and I had the pecan pie (or rather, we shared both). Oh my. Talk about yummy and delectable! Chicago would be well-served if RPM Steak opened a bakery next door. All and all, our first visit to RPM Steak was exceptional and memorable. All the more to be thankful for on Thanksging day.

   The Wagyu beef was the best I have ever eaten. The service was spot on. One of my new favorite places in Chicago.

   Excellent meal. Wonderful service. Out of the the three RPM restaurants in Chicago, we thought Steak was the best.
