   Absolutely outstanding service. Wonderful staff. I had the ribeye special with scallops. Perfectly cooked and tasty. Scallops were outstanding and vegetables crisp. The only downside was the amount of gristle in the ribeye which was a lot and made eating it a chore as I had to cut gristle, cut pieces to eat, cut gristle, cut pieces to eat… etc. Had a lot of inedible pieces when finally done and it ruined the dining experience for me. However, the staff was sooooooo wonderful that I could not complain at all.

   Our severer Oliver was fantastic!! He was on point with everything!!! Can’t say enough great things about him!!The food was great but the service can make or break an establishment and Oliver is definitely an asset to Rudy and Paco!!!!!

   Best dinner we had in a long time. Visiting Galveston for the weekend and friend had recommended this place. Delicious food, great service, fun vibe- especially for a fine dining place, and good wine list. It was a very busy night. The whole team was awesome. The hostess, waitress, other servers were professional, gracious, knowledgeable and very welcoming!

   This is our first time visiting but definitely we will be back. The food and service were impeccable. The staff gave recommendations when requested and were very complimentary of the food. The atmosphere was quiet and servers were always available.

   I love Rudy and Paco’s. I’ve been there many times over the years. Usually, everything is excellent. This time, I was disappointed in the atmosphere. Too many tables, too close together. It takes away from the cozy atmosphere. Also, the evening after Thanksgiving, I’m sure was an issue with crowding. Everyone at our table loved their steak. The lobster tail on the special was tough, they said. In my opinion, lobster here in Texas is usually a little dry. I ordered the halibut. It was a little dry. Texas isn’t the place to order halibut. I should have ordered the snapper. I think it had been cooked in the oven too long. Sides were good. The wine list is the very best anywhere. I loved my gin martini and the wine with dinner. Overall, the evening was very nice. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Rudy and Paco’s is a special place. It’s one of my favorite restaurants on the island!

    Excellent meal at the lovely place! We loved the ambience, food and service. Standouts included the martini menu and quarto leches cake. A wonderful family meal which we hope to make a new tradition! Highly recommended.
