Le Rustico présente un pub de quartier par excellence, situé sur le bord de la vieille ville d'Alexandria. Le menu propose de copieux plats de saison américains, cuits au four à feu de bois et au grill, notamment des pizzas et des viandes de rôtisserie ainsi que d'autres repas rustiques à base des plus frais ingrédients locaux. L'amour du Rustico pour l'orge et le houblon ne fait aucun doute! Le point focal du bar est un comptoir en T inversé galvanisé avec 30 robinets rutilants à composition se terminant sur deux refroidisseurs massifs contenant plus de 400 différents types de bières, lagers, cidres et stouts.

After taking our order and delivering our food, our server ignored us. Never refilled water until I asked him to after we’d been there 2 1/2 hours. Place wasn’t busy. Had to ask for check when we got to the three hour point.

I was very Disappointed this time around. This is normally my go to place. And I drive a distance as well. Every time I go I get the Fish And Chips. Usually it’s very good. Unfortunately not this time.

We’ve been to Rustic co many times and love it. This time started off differently. We had a reservation and the host was one of the rudest people we have ever been greeted by. He barked out where to stand, barked out to follow him to a table and when being seated we thanked him twice he never acknowledged nor says d ‘you’re welcome’. Certainly didn’t start things off well;,but, our waiter was delightful, welcoming and helpful, the food was terrific and we were glad we didn’t let the start ruin our evening. The host working 7 pm on Fri 2/28 was either having a bad evening or was not suited for the role.

Rustico had a great atmosphere but the food was just ok. Nothing was bad and they got our order correct, so I can't complain. But for the cost, we were disappointed about how ordinary everything was and how small the portions were.

We visited Rustico for brunch during Alexandria Restaurant Week. Service was really great. The food was tasty, and the drinks were nice. I got a Bloody Mary, Espresso Martini, risotto tots, French Toast, and brownie sundae. The portions were generous and filling. My Bloody Mary was pretty plain, but the martini was really nice. I enjoyed all of my food. My friend got a beer, the cauliflower appetizer, chicken & waffles, and the cinnamon donuts. They found the beer to be a little bit dull, as well as the cauliflower. They enjoyed it, along with the rest of their meal, but felt that dish was lacking. Overall, we had a really nice meal and really enjoyed ourselves! I’ll keep ordering from here and will make sure I visit in person more often!
