Food was good but the make-up and preparation and appearance of the dishes was quite different (not for the better) than it's been in the past. We have been going there for many, many years, precisely because of things are done there, so this was a bit of a shock. The beef filet was excellent, the shrimp was fine but not anywhere as they've always been, and the appetizers and sides were all just okay. Drinks were fine though I had to specify and explain what I wanted. Dessert was the usual little muffin cheesecake...over it. And last but not least, the service: the young man was pleasant enough but not really up to the caliber we are accustomed to at Ruth's Chris. Service was way rushed through the meal, and then at a snail's pace when we wanted our bill and then waiting again to pay. We are not feeling like rushing back there at this point, sorry to say.

We dined here tomorrow celebrate a birthday which was acknowledged by the hostess and the waiter. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It was a bit expensive so we view this as a place for special occasions.

Greeted by hostess who took our coats. Took us to our table with some of our guests who arrived before we did. Our waiter, Connor, very attentive and did a fine job with orders and meal delivery. Food was excellent especially the tenderloin steaks

Had a wonderful birthday dinner at our favorite Ruth’s Chris’s along with our favorite server, Elijah. Food was amazing and the ambience was wonderful. Made my day really special!

Been going here for years, but had some struggles on this visit. We went about 30 minutes without seeing our waiter. Someone finally came to the table and gave us Togo boxes, and then got checks. Checks were furthest thing from correct, and had to wait even longer to situate the checks. I then asked where our waiter was and my response was, “he went home sick”. No one came to check on us after he left, didn’t hear anything from the waiter, nothing. As I said, been going here for years and the food was still good! But, the service was a large turnoff for us.

Ruth’s Chris is one of our favorite dining locations in Asheville. I’m especially fond of this location for its easy access from I-40. The main reason I keep coming back is the ease of booking a reservation with OpenTable. For men, we like it simple. I open the app click and book reservation complete. I know when I book a reservation at Ruth’s Chris, I’m getting lucky that night.
