    Me and my wife went here for Valentine’s Day and the place is beautifully set up, great atmosphere. BUT the service wasn’t very good. The waitress said they were very understaffed so I can’t ultimately put the blame on her. But if I’m paying $175 for 2 people to eat, I expect damn good service. Both our entrees were amazing. Wife said the salad was 100% garbage. All in all I give them a 3 out of 5 stars and I was hesitant on giving the 3. I also put in a request for flowers to be at the tabIe and they failed to do that. I felt bad for the waitress, that is if she was telling the truth about them being understaffed. But for a $175 dollar meal with the service I got, I definitely will NOT be back.

    It was my first time visiting Ruth Chris. The food was delicious and ambience was amazing. I’d definitely recommend.

    We had a great meal and a fantastic time. We love Ruth Chris . ❤️ Excellent service. Joseph was awesome. Definitely asking for him the next time. The manager is the best. Hire’s only top notch employee’s. Mia Bonner

    Alex was great! We enjoyed our food and he made ordering so easy. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and kept us updated.

    Not worth the money. Food very subpar. Drink menu very limited. No free refills on soda. Tea was very watered down. Not worth the money. Ambience was good. Waitress was very nice. I will not go back however. I could get a better bang for my buck somewhere cheaper and enjoy it more. For a 5 star restaurant and the price you pay you expect nothing short of an amazing experience.

    Arrived approximately 10 min before reservation and we were seated immediately. Hostess was nice and cheerful. We were seated in an "outside" veranda area that was quite nice. A young man named Alex was out server and he was great. Handled a n y request and catered to us with a smile. If you're at the Birmingham location, find yourself lucky to get Alex as your server. The food was cooked to our liking and with a perfect temperature. The food we couldn't finish, Alex happily boxed and bagged to go. Would recommend anyone going, and would not hesitate to go back!!

    This wasn’t my best Ruth’s Chris experience. This was my first time visiting the Birmingham location but have visited several other occasions and have always been impressed. My fiance and I came for an early Valentine’s Day meal but I wish we had chosen another establishment. Our server and the staff were friendly and most of our meal was delicious but the time it took to get our meal and breaks between being visited by our server were far too long. The biggest problem came with my steak. I had ordered the steak medium and it arrived slightly below rare. I sent it back and it came out a second time also rare and far below medium. I told the chef it was still too rare and he seemed surprised I ordered it medium. I’m sure there was a miscommunication and the third time the steak came out perfectly medium. But by this point the steak was not as delicious and tender as you would expect and part of the steak were a little burnt. I understand mistakes happen but having send the steak back twice with no real apology or managers visit was disappointing. My server apologized and said he put in medium to the kitchen but the steak really did not live up to my previous experiences with Ruth’s Chris.
