Wonderful experience, our waiter was the best and we couldn’t be happier to choose this place to celebrate my dads birthday and my birthday as well ❤️ very grateful for the experience.

We went here as a party of six to celebrate my son's birthday. As such, we ordered six different plates. Two of the steaks arrived overdone however they were eaten because they didn't want to wait any longer. Two of the filets were not really tender and not really tasty. I personally ordered the rack of lamb which came out cool not hot. It was also under seasoned and I had to put salt on it to give it some taste. There was one steak that came out perfect at least. The waiter was nice, and he tried to remedy the situation. Only one steak was returned because it was really unedible. The new steak that came out was much better. The rest of us opted to eat the steaks as they were, probably because we had waited some time already. In fairness to the restaurant they did not charge us for the rack of lamb and provided us a couple of free desserts. Honestly I don't think I'm going back here, given the amount of Premium steakhouses available in the general area.

I contacted the restaurant and someone did call me back one time and didn’t leave a message. I was in a meeting and couldn’t answer and since then no follow up. My husband and I visited Miami for his birthday and whenever we travel if there’s a Ruth Chris we will dine there. Since we are from New Orleans we always dine at their Metairie and New Orleans restaurants. We have been diners of Ruth’s for more than 2 decades and this was the worst experience with them. The food was not cooked as ordered. The waiter reached over my food, almost touching my meal,while I was still eating. I sent an email and they said someone would call and I did have a missed call but when I tried to contact them they acted like they didn’t know who contacted me. They also added a birthday dessert to our bill that we did not ask for and they charged us for it. The large cheesecake that we eat at their New Orleans area restaurants are made TOTALLY DIFFERENT from what we had in Miami. The NOLA restaurants make theirs like a whipped, fluffy kind of cheese which is heavenly but here it was that thick New York style store bought frozen cheesecake. It was horrible. The waiter breath was really bad and we could barely understand him because of the accent. He thought maybe me couldn’t hear him which means he kept getting closer and it was very bad. My husband took sick and we left early. It was our first really bad experience with this chain.

Long time regular customer so I enjoy the restaurant very much (although they need to bring back the best onion soup in U.S.), but my lamb chops were so perfect last night I had to leave a review. Santis’s service was great as usual.
