   We had a group of 10 for dinner. AFTER arriving we were told that they would need to put us in a private room because the dining area was busy. That was ok but they charged 3% on top of the bill for doing so. The wait was extremely long. The servers were kind. The steaks were overcooked, but no one wanted to wait longer to correct the issue. This was a first time Ruth's Chris experience for most of our party and undoubtedly the worst experience we had at a restaurant during our stay. We were there for the RTIME conference in San Antonio. Our party consisted of comapny management and Board members. We left very disappointed.

   service was outstanding, appetizer, salad and meal were excellent, the restaurant was very noisy, and it was difficult to have a conversation with other diners at table. Our waitress Lou was excellent.

   Bar service was slow, not even busy, but then a new server came in and she was great! We had a drink and the calamari. The calamari was amazing! Then we headed in for our reservation and the dinning room area was less than inviting; loud, lighting was not soft, and furnishing were dated. Our server was nice, but rushed through everything as if she was tired of saying the same old thing. We ordered steaks (I had shrimp with mine) and the garlic mashed potatoes. The steaks came out super hot and cooked to perfection! Unfortunately, the potatoes were dried out, but really didn’t care since our steaks were so great! However, the floor manager came by to check on us and he quickly and insistently solved our potato issue. The new plate of the garlic potatoes were excellent! Would definitely eat there again, but would not expect the elegant “Ruth Chris” experience I have had in other locations.

   Wonderful service and meal. Able to get work discussions completed without too many interruptions.

   Everything was fantastic. We were talking about how delicious the sides were before we even got into the entree. Save room for the scratch made cheesecake.

   The cocktails were amazing ordered a few to try a variety all came out well balanced, the food was well cooked to the desired level the side portions were just enough for two if a larger group would recommend an extra side

    Really disappointed with this location. Potatoes were not cooked right, bread pudding dry, steak was good and cooked to proper temp. We will go back to Perry's where service and food is top notche and price is about $100 less.
