Le Ruth's Chris Steak House a été fondé à la Nouvelle-Orléans, en Louisiane, par Ruth Fertel, une mère célibataire de deux enfants qui rêvait d'une vie meilleure pour elle et ses deux fils. Elle y a donc acheté le steakhouse « Chris » qui comptait déjà 38 ans d'activité au cours des années précédentes. Après un incendie qui l'a conduite à se déplacer de l'adresse d'origine, elle rebaptisa son restaurant « Ruth's Chris ». Aujourd'hui, il existe 142 steakhouses Ruth's Chris à travers le monde.

    I was very disappointed. We were sat in the bar area and it was extremely loud. I could barely have a conversation with my husband. Food took forever to come out and when it did. It was lacking flavor. I told my waiter and I was offered A1 sauce. I have eaten here numerous times. This time was a miss and no one even came by to check on us about our subpar food. For what we pay for dinner I expect better. Too many steakhouses out there to not care about ur customers

    Food took over and hour and a half to be delivered. Sides were missing and waited was minimal and not attentive. Over a $500 bill for mediocre experience. It was a shame because this is our favorite location and we had friends there for their first time.

    Always have a great experience. Last night was not that. We were disappointed because we brought our son for the first time and had raved about the food and service. Service was extremely slow almost 3 hours for dinner with no appetizers and dessert to go because we just needed to go. One off, I’m sure but a 600 dollar meal should always be good. Manager stopped by but offered nothing other than apology.

    We were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary and it was our 1st visit to Ruth Chris. We got the Cesar salad (bland) the French onion soup (returned it as it tastes strong like alcohol/wine) Cowboy ribeye (1/2 of the steak was fatty garbage that we brought home to our dogs). The potatoes au gratin and the creamed spinach were both great. Overall, we were pretty disappointed.

    Everything was great on a busy Valentines Day. The server Mathew was awesome and made the night even better. He did a great job.

    Ryan was an outstanding server! After having a fantastic experience at the New Orleans location, we weren’t sure if another Ruth’s Chris could measure up—but the St. Pete location proved us wrong.     We like this place. However, for the price, it feels very factory like, lacking a sense of personalized experience. The food was good but not great (a $52 steak should be awesome). I would say it is definitely a notch above the steakhouse chains but not enough different to make we want to go there without the annual Christmas gift card that helps defray the expense ($265 for 1 bottle of the least expensive cab, 2 petite filets, a shared shrimp cocktail, a shared salad, a shared side, and a shared dessert). I think if they worked a little more on the experience part it would actually increase the sense of value. Services are deliverable but experiences are memorable.

    The steaks are always perfect as was the service. This is our “go to” place for special occasions and we are never disappointed!

    Steaks and lobsters were great as always. Sides and salads were extraordinary. Ordered the wine and they brought the wrong year (per the menu). Such occurs and it was corrected. We ordered the food. Salads came and we had begun to enjoy when the steaks came. I asked them to send it back (which they did). It seemed I upset the wait staff. During the evening my table never saw a manager. It would have bee. nice to have them stop at our table. Paying to park ,even with RC validation, was irritating after the experience in the restaurant. I love RC but will probably not return to this location. Please know I left a very generous tip for the wait staff. Thankful for them working.
