Le Ruth's Chris Steak House a été fondé à la Nouvelle-Orléans, en Louisiane, par Ruth Fertel, une mère célibataire de deux enfants qui rêvait d'une vie meilleure pour elle et ses deux fils. Elle y a donc acheté le steakhouse « Chris » qui comptait déjà 38 ans d'activité au cours des années précédentes. Après un incendie qui l'a conduite à se déplacer de l'adresse d'origine, elle rebaptisa son restaurant « Ruth's Chris ». Aujourd'hui, il existe 142 steakhouses Ruth's Chris à travers le monde.

    We had an extraordinary dining experience at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in St. Petersburg last night. The manager, Michaela, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She was GREAT!! We sat at the bar and were attended to by Emily, Jon, and Bryan, who were all fantastic. The service was exceptional, and the food was perfectly prepared and delicious. Highly recommend!

    This was our second visit to Ruth’s Chris and over all not a great experience compared to our first time dining with this restaurant. First visit - we dined in the dining room where it was intimate and really nice. The food was superb, service was 9/10 (which is why I chose to spend my birthday here for our second visit) I couldn’t wait to go again. Second visit- (The Birthday dinner I thought I couldn’t wait for). They sat us in the bar, in a booth surrounded by other people that made it feel like a Chilis bar and grill. The lighting was also very bright in the bar area it was zero percent intimate or peaceful as we were also on the main area where everyone and their brother was walking past us to go to the restroom. Our waiter was weird and not personable AT ALL , I asked him if they had fried shrimp for my son he said “sometimes they do sometimes they don’t” instead of saying something to the extent of let me check.. he brought out a bottle of wine he poured a taste for my husband which was tending to our son and I was sitting idol , so i politely asked if I may have a taste also, he just said okay and poured my glass about half full which I felt was disrespectful, I wanted to taste it. I did not ask him to pour it . I felt like my opinion did not matter. He finally went to check to see if they had shrimp after asking a second time. (I should not have to remind someone how to do their job). T We spent $419 and the tip suggested amount was over $80 something, I left $40. I would have gladly gave him more if the experience was worth it . The best part was the dessert they brought out a little cheese cake with happy birthday written on the plate in chocolate it was really cute. We had the chocolate cake and the cheesecake which were very good . I had an 11oz fila with lobster tail the fila was really good the lobster was dry and lacking flavor. We had a bunch of food left over to take home and wouldn’t you know my $80 steak was not in the to go bag. 😡

    We eat here often. Tonight was not a good meal. My steak came out with a hair on the plate and the steak was medium plus to medium well instead of medium rare. They change the plate out and gave me the same steak so maybe putting it in too very hot plates overcooked it. I asked to have steak taken away and removed from the bill. The manager came out and said we don’t want you to leave hungry. Please let me remake your steak. They brought the steak but everyone else was done eating so they ordered a bread pudding which was wonderful. I was shocked when the bill came and the dessert was not free. We were disappointed in this.

    not the ruths that you would enjoy years ago. We were looking forward to it after almost 4 years since we last visited.

    We were seated in bar /lounge area instead of main room. we had hawaiaan shirts on and not dressed nice enough i guess.

    Service was excellent from the hostess greeter to our server Ryan & his assistant Samantha. Timing of courses was very good. We will definitely be back.

    We had a great meal for my girlfriend‘s birthday. Dylan provided excellent service and his recommendation that we get the sweet potato casserole with ice cream on it for dessert made the meal. The sweet potato casserole is offered as a side item but it works much better as a dessert.

    When we were sat at the table one of the menu’s given to us was missing the menu inside the booklet. Once we received our entrees we were notified that one of the sides was not available and to please order something else. Then the same thing happened for dessert, we ordered the chocolate cake and they came back to the table after the fact and said sorry we didn’t realize we do not have that as well. The service was good however the overall experience was not what we were expecting for a 5 star $270 meal.

    We were sat in the hottest section of the restaurant, literally sweating at our table. My steak was dry and the burnt butter on the plate is not a great smell.

    We had to return our steaks due to overcooking. Second round was no better. This was for our engagement dinner. Server did all he could but two hours into it, the evening was a flop. GM reached out. Said he would get back to me. $300+ wasted. In all fairness I need to point out this was right in between hurricane Helen and Milton.
