Food wonderfully done and excellent service although a bit formal (waiter puts your napkin in your lap for you as if he thinks you don’t know to do that without help). Noise level was a little high because there were several very large tables celebrating the holidays. On non holiday weekends it would be a lovely, romantic restaurant.

First time at Steak 48 was a pleasure. Our server Jacob was informative and attentive the entire evening. My wife loved the food was served hot giving her the feel of a home cooked meal ❤️. We definitely will be back!

We were there for a special occasion. Our server Joyce was great. Very personable. Everyone had steak except me. I had salmon. It was too undercooked for my liking and not very flavorful. (I know not to over cook salmon but this was mushy) other than that the meal for everyone was good. It is an expensive restaurant, so it’s more for a special occasion than a regular place to visit.

Paul Friedman is a Master Chef with over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry,having owned and operated over 50 successful restaurant concepts in South Africa, Germany, and the U.S. Paul began his career as a manager and worked his way up to franchise owner, then Director of Operations.
He opened Paul's Pizza Shops - a nationally recognized pizza concept in Northwest Houston, Texas in 1994.
Paul later developed a new concept, becoming the Executive Chef, CEO and partner at Peli Peli - a nationally recognized South African Fusion Restaurant which opened in 2009 in Houston, Texas. Having retired from Pelipeli in 2018 he has returned to his original location at Vintage Park with his latest concept The Chefs Table.
Chef Friedman says this is by far my best creation yet and I hope to leave a legacy here for my children and grandchildren to be proud of.

We had a wonderful time on Christmas Eve at The Capital Grille! The cocktails, appetizers and steaks were absolutely perfect. 🤩 The service was very good and when they accidentally didn’t pack up one of our leftovers the manager made it right and cooked us another steak to go! That is excellent service! We will definitely be back! Thank you Capital Grille for a wonderful family dinner experience ❤️
