We just moved to our new beach location as La Tapa Plage in the Wharfside Hotel Village in March of 2022, still featuring the same interesting ever changing menu including fresh local seafood, organic greens & herbs form Coral Bay, flavors with a touch of Spain & France (Basque Country), Germany and Caribbean. Our goal is to make you feel welcome, cozy and inspired by our great wines, delicious food, good service in a beautiful atmosphere. ---Open for dinner service at 5PM Friday through Wednesday. For parties larger than 6, please call the restauarant at 340-693-7755.---We will be open for Thanksgiving, but closed on Christmas Day.-**We do not have high chairs or booster seats. If you need either, we do have bench seating in the dining area that work's best for small children. Please request bench seating when making your reservation.**

Outstanding, perfectly prepared cuisine in a lovely seaside setting! Service was excellent. The waitress was very nice and upbeat. Throughout the meal, she was very attentive without being overbearing. The wine she recommended was wonderful. The tuna was very fresh and delicious. The octopus was tender and the sauce was terrific. The paella was even better than last year. For dessert, we shared the flourless chocolate cake which was a wonderful way to end a spectacular meal.

Food was excellent, service was perfect along with the view of the yachts! We are on Island and saw the sign as we pulled in to the marina. Music was bit loud.

It is such a lovely place unpretentious yet utterly charming. We sat right in front of the water and watched the moon rise at the end of dinner. The ocean waves provided the best sound score. The server was fantastic, and the food was amazing. We had the coconut curry lobster and snapper almondine, and both were exceptional.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place was something special, and it didn’t disappoint in any way. Service: The staff here are incredible. From the warm welcome to the impeccable service throughout the meal, they made us feel like VIPs. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear that they take pride in providing an unforgettable dining experience, and it really shows. Food: Now, let's talk about the food—WOW! Every dish we tried was absolutely outstanding. We had a fabulous, authentic, island time meal & drinks. Our party of five adults chose to order all of the starters for our dinner and they were delicious. Group favorites- the fritters, caramelized plantains, spicy shrimp, fried chicken. We appreciated that the staff was friendly and we weren’t rushed through our meal. The rum balls were a perfect ending to the meal. Try the rum flight and the El Presidente for beverages.
