The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. From Ales to YPA’s, to Blonde beers we are a small producer using primary English hops brewing exclusively in house for The Hop Vine and our sister pub the Legh Arms.

Our countryside sister the Legh Arms is our latest addition to the family and is situated in the pretty hamlet of Mere Brow. Here we serve our trademark delicious home produced quality food and excellent home brewed ales. Your hosts Mike & Julie and their superb team bring a wealth of experience in the trade and have sourced the best in the local area to tempt you.

Our Brunch, All-Day and Sunday Lunch menus are suitable for all, while our Friday and Saturday evening Tasting Menu offers a more grown up experience. We had a fabulous meal here today. There was 8 friends who like to eat out on a regular basis. The food was absolutely gorgeous, I definitely recommend the beef steak. I tried the cauliflower starter to try something different and it was so tasty. Everything was perfect, the food, staff everything. We loved the pianist who made our afternoon very pleasant. We would recommend the white tower to anyone.

After a couple of meals recently with bad service It was a lovely surprise to have such a fab visit As always the food was excellent However, despite been on the Saturday evening in between Christmas & new year The service was outstanding The staff were both happy and attentive Speed of service excellent too

This was a seven course set Christmas Eve menu, each course was served in a timely manner, and every one was exceptional. Each course had been thoughtfully crafted by the head chef who obviously knows his stuff, along side his hardworking staff, who were all very pleasant and attentive The whole place is professionally run to a high standard and provides an excellent dining experience. We look forward to a return visit in the near future, in the meantime Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2025

Our pan-Asian menu gathers influences of cooking styles from all around Asia; including Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, China, Indonesia and Vietnam. The design of the restaurant is influenced by some of our favourite places to eat and drink, it takes its cues from the street food ‘Hawker’ markets of Penang mixed with the reclaimed building feel of Budapest’s ruin bars. These places both have a magical feel, something that we’ve tried to recreate for the people of Blackpool to enjoy. Penang, Malaysia is an eclectic melting pot of various food styles, with influences from Indonesia, Thailand, India and China, dishes such as soup ramen and stone-baked donburi are two great examples of the depth in flavour, which can be created when different styles come together.

We decided to have , snack food rather than a main meals, it was delicious, we had BBQ Ribs, , Dumplings, spring rolls and salt and chilli chips. The service was fantastic and the waiter and waitress were very attentive. Would highly recommend.

The hotels 140 seat signature restaurant, The Beachside, focuses on delicious, locally sourced ingredients. The Beachside Restaurant enjoys a relaxed ambiance where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner complemented by beautiful decor and impeccable service. Excellent quality good, menu choice and atmosphere. The cheese soufflés were delicious, main courses of pork and beef, were succulent and desserts were delightful. Will return. Brandon was most helpful and all staff friendly and professional.
