Hard Knox Café offers San Francisco diners the best in southern home-style cooking. It is sometimes said that someone has gotten their education from the school of “hard knocks” meaning one born from experience rather than classroom training. Southern cooking is much like that as it is most often learned from family and growing up southern rather than a culinary course. Southern cooking also means lots of stick-to-your-ribs goodness and great hospitality. Both are in great supply at the Hard Knox Café. Great soul food like gumbo, po-boys (shrimp or catfish), pulled pork, jambalaya, crawfish etouffee, oxtails, BBQ ribs and fried chicken are good for what ails you. Catering services are also offered by the Hard Knox Café.

Tia Margarita's is an absolute San Francisco classic! You will be hard pressed to find a better ambiance or staff than what awaits you at tias. I have been going my entire life, and always bring out of towners for the most classic CA mexican dinner experience in SF. Delicious margaritas and food. Top hits; carne asada, gambas, gambas tostada, enchiladas, chile relleno, and a fave of mine, jennys special. Order refried beans here, you're welcome. Such a delicious meal, every time! Don't miss the queso if you're feeling naughty. Did I mention margaritas? Get em :)

Decided to treat myself to a delicious Tenppen chicken dinner today. Great decision. Fabian my chef was great. Cook my chicken, very tender, and tasty. If you haven’t tried Kimono, please do so. The place is a great restaurant. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the food is super delicious. Pamper yourself! 😉🎄🍁

Quickly seated even tho it was earlier then booked time. Moderate wait time for meal delivery as restaurant was busy for dinner crowd. Employees were friendly, fresh chips & Salsa & beverages were served promptly . Bar area was quite busy even tho it was 8 pm, televised local sports & our GSW Warriors were playing!

I was excited to check out this new place in Japantown and it did not disappoint. We had duck tacos and pork belly Benedict & they were delicious! Duck tacos were my favorite - savory and complex. The menu is mostly Asian fusion and the kimchi is house made (obvs in the name) and sooo good. Who knew kimchi & hollandaise combine to delicious effect. Cocktails were great too. Best of all was the server. So kind, friendly, and super fast. Also, we went for brunch and there was an entire baby group in there and it was not even loud. So everyone go check out the Fermentation Lab!!
