My husband and I were celebrating our 41st anniversary and although I’m on monjaro and thus can’t eat very much food I felt that the quality of the meal farther past any concerns I had there. The weight stuff was great the cocktail my husband ordered was delicious and they were overall very accommodating.

Our experience was very positive. The waiter was friendly and engaging. The food was reasonably priced, and we were allowed to substitute sides. It was quiet enough for us to converse with ease. The food itself was great. My chicken breast was moist and tender, and the Brussels sprouts were to DIE for! One of my personal measures of a restaurant is the quality of the coffee. The coffee was VERY good. My only negative comment is that the air conditioning was a little excessive and blew directly down onto my meal, causing it to get cold. I rarely comment about this because I am very warm-natured, but I do mind if it affects my meal. Patrons around us were wearing their coats and had similar complaints. The waiter said that the restaurant’s administration set the controls and the restaurant itself could not adjust it. I just kept the little menu and put it over the top of my coffee cup to keep it out of the wind. That was a minor inconvenience in comparison to the remainder of our experience however. I do recommend this restaurant.

Service staff was wonderful and attentive to detail. Cocktails were perfect as were salads and sides. The salmon was wonderful but the filet was dry. This was not mentioned to the staff as the restaurant was slammed with banquet business and wasn’t important. We would return on a less busy night.

Alexander's Craft Cocktails and Kitchen was named after the distillery located on the grounds from 1861-1865, which washed away in a flood (historic marker located between the restaurant & The Manor).

The newly renovated main bar is located on 1st floor, and opens onto expansive wrap-around, creekside porches. Just a few steps down from the porches is an open deck situated beneath gracious Live Oak canopies.

The warm aubergine & copper walls of the third floor lounge contrast the amazing art representation from local galleries. Set in the beautiful, newly-renovated historic Ice House on Main in downtown Bryan, our restaurant shares an open-air kitchen with our dining room, floor to ceiling exposed brick, and hand-built, suspension tables made from wood salvaged during renovation.

Our menu is updated daily, based on what we have harvested from our garden during that given week. Our farm is located just seven miles from our restaurant. Incredible service, amazing food, knowledgeable and attentive staff, beautiful location and interior, One Thirty Five is the number one place for fine-dining in the Waco area. Christopher, the Bar Manager, was wonderfully knowledgeable of their wine and pairings, and personally curated a dinner and its pairings for me and my girlfriend’s date. Truly, it was an amazing experience all around and made for a very special night. I would HIGHLY recommend One Thirty Five to anyone who is looking for the perfect place to impress your significant other, or who are looking for the best upscale dining in Waco.
