Harvester Kitchen is a contemporary restaurant with a focus on the time-honored belief of warm, welcoming hospitality. Chef-owned, operated, and focused on innovative American cooking based on classic old-world techniques. Harvester Kitchen by Bryan is located in downtown Sioux Falls (DTSF) on 6th Street, near Phillips Avenue, with sunset views of the iconic Old Courthouse clock tower. The windowed loft-style space is in the historic Harvester Building. The restaurant is a scenic 1/2-mile walk from the impressive Falls Park and the waterfalls of the Big Sioux River. And is a few steps away from the Arc of Dreams, the centerpiece landmark sculpture of the DTSF sculpture walk, spanning the Big Sioux River.

Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in Boston, MA. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, ventured to the east coast as a nanny and then nursing school in Somerville, MA. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard island. Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018. As owners of R Wine Bar, Riccardo and Marybeth are passionate about one thing: people. They believe that people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. With a curated wine list, local craft beer on tap, and beautifully executed menu, Riccardo and Marybeth are thrilled to bring R Wine Bar & Kitchen to the East Bank of Downtown Sioux Falls along with their General Manager, Jane Allen, Assistant Manager Bailey Bernal, Sous Chef Caleb Carr, Sous Chef Esteban Gonzalez, and Culinary Director Adam Schumacher.

Opening R Wine Bar & Kitchen in 2018, and Vespa Catering and Brix Wine Bar in 2022, they have created a culture of hospitality for guests who feel like family. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. The environment was very nice, very up class, nice Christmas music for this time of year. Staff were very friendly and laughing with me. The food was on point and very tasty! The wine and drink selection was perfect! And I want to say thank you to our waitress Grace! She was very knowledgeable, funny and patient. She helped me pronounce the foods and explained the taste of the foods compared with the wine. Grace came back to check on us and helped us put some good food and wine combinations. It’s always good to laugh and have a good time with your waitress or staff. Grace made it feel like we were family at Christmas dinner. 10/10 for the restaurant, definitely go and experience what I experienced tonight. And for Grace, 100/100 thank you for a wonderful night! (She Said Yes). Slip of the tongue lol

Food was excellent!! Long line. Too bad there aren't 4 lines to expedite the buffet. But overall very good. Thanks for being open on thanksgiving!!
