   Good food, interesting sushi options. Pleasant wait-staff. However, two thjngs really dinged the experience: - We had an 8:30 reservation, and had to wait till 9pm to get a table. A number of arriving guest seated ahead of us, and we were consistently told people were “just leaving”. In restaurant-speak this means “we didn’t reserve a table for you, or just gave it away”. Unacceptable at this price level. - To pay the bill, the server took my card, ran it there, and held up the screen -  in full view of my date - to choose a preprogrammed tip-level. Completely unacceptable at a restaurant whose average price for 2 is well over $150. Take my card, run in where, and give me the privacy of leaving a tip. Bottom line: nice atmosphere, but average experience, and left feeling like we’d been to Perkins.

   An unfortunate dining experience with 1 out of 4 people at our table not getting their order. Management scrambled to get the order filled and it arrived as the rest of us finished our meal. Food was overall good but not great. We have enjoyed this place many times before. They withdrew from our emotional bank account on this occasion.

   Server Excellent. Terrific. Food. 8 out of 10 Ambiance. Tired. Reception area upon arrival broken floor tiles. Dirty. Old. I’ll repair. (2) Host personal. Absolutely awful. Near incompetent. Dismissive. Unorganized. Snarky. Confused. Will add. (25 min. After arrival and after our second table (lied to us)we were moved too another with attitude. Had to ask our server to check us in as booking was done through open table and OT was texting me we were late for our reservation. The server took care of it….the 2 at the door failed at that too) Was there not an overwhelming influx of people at the door. Sent the tone as a second tier place. I’ve been going to the restaurant when I’m in town for 4-5 years. Not sure I’ll rerun.

   Dined here for the first time in a while. While the food was decent. I do not like they changed the concept of the restaurant. They went from small plates and sushi. To full on sushi and Asian cuisine. While the food was good, I have other spots that I go to for this style of food that does it better. It’s a shame because the style they had before was unique. Now it is a copy of every Asian restaurant with 3 steaks thrown in there.

   This was our 2nd time dining in and both times were amazing. The food is outstanding, service is wonderful and the overall atmosphere is excellent. I’m so excited to come back. Thank you for the experience.
