   Service was impeccable from the moment we arrived to the second we left…and we enjoyed ourselves so much we were likely the last to leave. Each course was incredible! Love, love loved the pasta with truffles…and the tomatoes just added a hint of flavour which was a wonderful surprise! Wow!! Had to have the coconut cream pie, of course!

   I’m sure this restaurant is incredible and we remember it being so. However, on this particular visit about eight years since we had been there, I notified the server right away of my coeliac needs and I thought everything would be fine. My first course arrived with what looked like some kind of breadcrumb on the plate, but knowing that I was at a very high-end restaurant, I assured myself everything is fine. then I started to say to my husband maybe we should just ask this really doesn’t look like a corn crumb. It looks like a breadcrumb. Lo and behold when we ask the server, she went to the kitchen and was there for quite some time and returned to tell us that indeed it was a breadcrumb. Very disappointing given the price point and level of food that you would expect from this restaurant. That’s not to say that my husband‘s food was not delicious. He enjoyed it tremendously. I would say a caution to anyone attending this restaurant with serious dietary restrictions like celiac.  we asked for some of the food to be packed up and it was never brought back to our table so we left without it. Just a poor service experience. There’s obviously a problem with the kitchen communicating to each other and to the server staff. Unfortunately, we will not be going back, can’t take the risk.

   As always, Impeccable and scrumptious.. Had oysters, pasta app with Amalfi lemon and fresh asparagus, Bass and veg, and lots of delicious white wine. ❤️

   We went for our anniversary. If you're looking for a classy restaurant with great food, great service and ambiance, this is it. Couldn't have had a better experience.

   Love this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service outstanding. If you are lucky enough to get a table near the window there is a sparkling view of the city.

   We finally returned after 11 years. Seems to be a sentimental favorite for many people. We had potato leek soup and terrine for starters, and peppercorn pasta and scallops as mains. My favorite of the night is the terrine, surprisingly. Went very well with our bottle of Riesling. My husband raved about the pasta, but I found it a tad salty. Coconut pie for dessert. Try going here on a later seating (8:30pm onwards) for a bit of a quieter experience. Scaramouche is a very good restaurant with nice views and lovely waitstaff. Food itself is quite good, but nothing that really rocked my world.

    Never disappoints. The service is friendly and prompt. Food is always fantastic and the view is lovely. Great dining space.
