   Open Table did not get my reservation updates to the restaurant and that meant we were seated out in a side patio where we were promised that a heater would keep it pleasant however it ran out of fuel and it wasn’t relit. Eventually they rolled another in place however we were paying our bill by then. The sushi was untraditional and was ok, but the lobster was pulverized in the gentlemen’s roll and the steak was well done. The typical fresh flavor of the fish was masked by sauces. Our waitress was very sweet and cute and engaging and she tried very hard to accommodate us all.

   Decor is amazing! Simply would go back because of it. Sushi rolls were amazing as well. Loved the cocktails and our server, nothing bad to say! Enjoyed our time!

   Wonderfully done. Was greeted by the hostesses who were very polite and pleasing. Was sat in the cherry blossom dinning room, very quiet, intimate and immersive. The volume here was very minimal almost non existent in comparison to the main dining floor. The waitress was very professional, kind and knowledgeable; she had great recommendations. The ribeye skewers were succulent and juicy. The spicy tuna roll was fairly spicy and delicious (maybe too much for those sensitive to heat). The gentleman roll was very appetizing and the sweetheart was pretty sweet. Over all excellent flavors. Tasty sake available.

   The queen and I love coming her, I took my daughter for the first time on our monthly Daddy Daughter Day. As a teenager she is super picky but she loved everything. She order the Truffle Miso Soup and the Sweatheart roll. I had the Pork Belly Boa were amazing as was the Distinguish Gentleman's Roll. There Shogun Smoked old fashioned was amazing too.

   This is my daughter‘s favorite cuisine. We are celebrating her 18th birthday for the price point which is I would consider a high for Sushi. I was fine with it. They squeezed seven people in a booth where my husband was sitting in a walkway. I don’t know if that’s legal and it was definitely extremely uncomfortable .Two hours before the reservation they text if we were over 18 years old ??!! I had my two sons with me so NO - what what does that mean? Were they gonna cancel the reservation ? Or is that why we were shoved in the corner ? I’m not a big fan of treating some customers like crap so that you could treat other customers better. I do not anticipate going back to this restaurant. If they want to be so fabulous and fancy, I would suggest moving out of a mini mall perhaps getting valet and stating when you make reservation that you want guest to be over 18 years old. I will continue dining at my private country club or the Gibson’s brand where you actually get what you pay for in terms of service.Overall server was good but that’s about it. The only reason I didn’t say anything at the moment is, I didn’t want to ruin the night for my daughter, but I intentionally didn’t order as much food when I realized that our experience was gonna be subpar so we chose not to spend as much money and went to our private club the London House after and finished eating there. How ridiculous we had to do that!!

To clarify, when we ask about guests being 18+ ahead of a reservation it is solely to help us accommodate seating arrangements, specifically to ensure that children are not sat in our bar area or Hanami lounge, as we strive to create a comfortable and appropriate environment for all of our guests. However, we are happy to accommodate families with children in other areas of our restaurant. We regret that your seating arrangement was not to your satisfaction, and we would have been more than happy to make adjustments had we been made aware at the time. We would love another opportunity to provide you with a better experience for you and your family.
