Agrémenté d'un lambris en chêne magnifiquement sculpté et d'un plafond en étain unique de l'ancienne mercerie des années 1930, le Shuckers est l'un des plus anciens et des plus importants bars à huîtres de Seattle. Avec un menu du jour qui propose une sélection de poissons et de fruits de mer frais, le Shuckers sert 13 sortes d'huîtres préparées de 9 façons différentes, avec des micro-bières artisanales locales. Le Zagat 2005 Restaurant Survey a décrit le Shuckers comme un « classique de Seattle » qui est l'un des « meilleurs restaurants de fruits de mer de la ville » avec « une très bonne ambiance » et un « excellent service ».

We had the most amazing dinner at Shuckers on our first night in Seattle. We ordered the Rockefeller oysters, the grilled trout, the pan seared black cod and shared the black and blue pie for dessert. Every course was delicious and well portioned. Plus the service was great from the moment we walked in the door to our conversation with the hostess in the back to our server who was friendly and attentive.

What a great seafood restaurant! The location is perfect in downtown Seattle! Again, another restaurant I’ve driven by thousands of times, and hadn’t been in! Connected to the Fairmount Hotel, this an elegant, yet inviting place for dinner. The service was great, and the beauty of the finish work, bar and space. Really add to the dining experience. Perfect for groups, or a date. If you want great food in the city. Stop 🛑 in and enjoy yourself! The appetizers were Awesome, and my seafood Cobb salad was Excellent!

I enjoyed myself here. The clam chowder was flavorful & creamy. The Lobster Campanella was also very good. The service was great & atmosphere was very inviting.
