Very quaint ambiance in a small town, food is superb in taste and presentation, service is as well. Can't wait to come back and try other menu items.

We went to Sidney with another couple to celebrate their 50th anniversary. I had emailed previous to our arrival to notify the staff of the reason for our visit. They greeted us with best wishes for the couple and provided a candle and a “Happy 50th Anniversary” inscription in chocolate on their dessert plate. Our dinners were delicious, each dish cooked perfectly. The staff was attentive and professional. The restaurant noise level was quiet enough that we did not have to raise our voices to be heard. The prices are high, but well worth it for a special occasion. A very delightful evening and a wonderful way to celebrate. I highly recommend Sidney.

A treat for the senses. If I only had one word to describe this place. It would have to be. Wonderful. Because that is how you will feel after visiting this place. We were treated to an amazing experience from the moment we crossed the threshhold of this historic place to the moment we left. We can't wait to come back.

The food was good. Although I thought the selection was limited, no chicken. The wait staff was very attentive. However, I felt very rushed. They served the next course before you finished the first course. No comment was made about the birthday celebration until I said something. Then we received a verbal happy birthday. Why ask when you make the reservation? We will be back because my husband loves the restaurant.

My wife and I enjoyed our dining experience at the Sidney Tavern. It is a unique restaurant in the Gettysburg area. We will definitely return if we are back in this area.
