Smith’s Bar & Grill is nestled in Paddington, Central London, it is the first place you see when you walk under the bypass behind Paddington Station.

Known for its high ceilings and almost full-length windows, the natural light in Smith’s is just as nourishing and wholesome as the comfortable furnishings and exquisite selection of food and drink that we serve.

The venue is split into the areas:
• Main Restaurant
• Main Bar & Lounge Area
• Outdoor Terrace Canal-side


Smith’s is an ideal venue for weddings, on-location filming, major launch events, and multi-stage music and entertainment events.
The whole venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 400 standing. Its proximity to Paddington Station (50 yards from the Hammersmith & City Underground entrance) makes it quick to get to for those coming from out of town.

    Menu and food were great, there’s a really solid lunch menu too. Service wasn’t the best, it was incredibly slow, no care was taken when pouring drinks (water all over the table, server didn’t even care or clean it up and it was hard to imagine they didn’t realise) and we had to get up and find someone to get service. Not ideal for a business meal. Otherwise things were good.

    Excellent! Smith’s is the perfect setting. The service was excellent and the food was perfect. We both had fillet steak, which was one of the best I’ve tasted. We shared some sides. The salads were amazing. We went there for the last meal of our London visit and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend.. Steak is excellent here. Worth a visit

    We had a wonderful dinner at the Smith’s bar & grill. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The service did not disappoint either. We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Alfredo. He did an amazing job with explaining the menu and giving recommendations on wine and food. Lovely warm and welcoming service. I would love to come back.

    We went for dinner here. Was really pleased we booked as I don’t think we would have got a table otherwise. The restaurant is fantastic. We were made to feel welcome on arrival. We ordered the fillet steak and baby chicken with two sides. The meal was incredible and the steak was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was really attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wine and looked after us really well. Would highly recommend.

    Nice food but portions are on the shall side. The meat was good but potatoes & veg in our roasts were bearly warm so disappointing. Service was good other than one main course arriving late compensated by a free drink for our guest while he watched us eat. Possibly return for drinks but unlikely for a meal. Nice atmosphere and quite lively.
