   Reservation for the first seating for lunch on a Sunday, we (3) were greeted immediately by a polite hostess. Being the first to arrive, the dining room was quiet. Noted that the dining area and restrooms were clean. Our waiter, Ryan took our order was very attentive and polite. Beverages and soup, corn chowder, arrived quickly. The soup was creamy and very tasty and perfect temperature. Sandwiches, Prime Rib (cheesesteak) Panini, Smithville burger and chicken salad arrived shortly after. All rated very good. Beverages were refilled. We haven't dined here in nearly a decade and though things have changed a bit over time, we were not disappointed. Will return.

   Where do I start! I haven’t been to this restaurant in years. It took several months to get a reservation. We were so excited to be there. That is where it ends. We were placed in a 2 top against the wall staring at a wall, when several other 2tops were placed at 4 tops and able to spread out. Ok thought we will make the most of it. Our Waitress shows up all flustered like. Ok again, we will make the best of it. We order and the food came out so fast that made me think it was all premade. Our salad arrived. Small doesn’t give it credit. The house salad was full of the yellow heart of the romaine head. Yuck! Then our food comes out. Hubby ordered Salmon. All the side veggies were ice cold! I ordered short ribs, usually my favorite. After complaining about the veggies they offered new ones, which came out after he finished. On top of that Regulars were placed at the table next to us, also 2 people at a 4 top! They received all the service while we waited. The boss came to make things better. We just wanted to leave. So we paid and left. I would think twice before going there again.

   The food was very good. The ambience was very good. The food selection was excellent. Our waitress wasn’t that great she got our order wrong at least three times. I don’t think she was listening. I think she was too rushed. She wasn’t really listening to what people were saying. She should’ve repeated the order that the people were giving her but outside of that it was a good meal overall. The manager was very nice. She comp us for the meal and drink. She was very apologetic

   Another fantastic evening at the Smithville Inn. The French onion soup is always a favorite and the Salmon and Pot Pie did not disappoint. Service was wonderful as always and the fireplace was beautifully decorated for Valentines Day, the perfect back drop for a picture of us on our Anniversary.

   Our server was very polite, pleasant and attentive. Ordered the chicken pot pie which never disappoints.

   The staff was friendly and courteous, they went out of their way to keep you informed. Laura our server was fantastic. The food was excellent as always. Looking forward to going back again soon.

   This was our first time having dinner at the Inn. In the past, we have just stopped for lunch. The food and the service were extraordinary. The portions are immense, and the drinks are fantastic.

    Everything was wonderful. Drinks, food, and service were all immaculate. My wife and I have been here twice and both times we have been extremely satisfied with everything. Our waitress, Kiera, was wonderful. Always right on time to make sure we were okay or needed anything. We can wait to come back.
