Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. The atmosphere is warm and energetic and the staff is well-trained to provide a fantastic dining experience for all of our guests. In addition, the wine list offers more than 500 selections and is a Wine Spectator Magazine award-winner regular.

Overall we were disappointed having dined here before. Service was great. I started with the chopped salad which lacked flavor. Also had the black grouper which was cooked okay but really was not tasty. Our Mac and cheese was cold within 5 minutes. Had coffee with baileys which was lukewarm. Grade C for the meal.

I had not dined at Soby's in over a year. The food has always been good but this time it seems as though it was even better. The service was wonderful as always. I will be retuning again soon.

Seated promptly at our reservation time. Waitress was the best ever. Numerous servers gave us great attentive service. Cocktails were made to order. They extended menu from restaurant week. Great food good bargain. I had black grouper off of regular menu. All salads , soups and entrees were first class. Great atmosphere. Busy restaurant

Fantastic meal during Restaurant Week. Every course that came out was delicious. Great service as well. Maybe best salmon I have ever had. Brussel appetizer was amazing.

We have enjoyed several meals, many in front of a show at the Peace Center. We missed that on Sunday opening is at 4:30 rather than 5. We were pressed for time so we were a bit compressed. Service did well to meet our timing but dessert was too compressed Overall the food was excellent. We took some to go. We will be back.

First time here - went for restaurant week and everything was great. Loved the She crab soup and Isabella was a wonderful server. Close proximity to Peace Center and Sony’s also offers complimentary valet parking. Highly recommend!
