Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. The atmosphere is warm and energetic and the staff is well-trained to provide a fantastic dining experience for all of our guests. In addition, the wine list offers more than 500 selections and is a Wine Spectator Magazine award-winner regular.

First time at Soby’s, was in Greenville for a wedding. My husband and I both had the salad appetizer, salmon entree, and two different desserts. The food and service was excellent. It was January and cold outside, and our reserved table was in the front section of the restaurant. We were a bit cold with the draft entering from the side door being opened frequently. But we had our coats so it wasn’t a problem. We would return.

Sat upstairs. Noise level Was high. Ordered salmon to be cooked medium. Salmon was very undercooked. Did not have time to send it back. Very disappointing.

We always have an excellent meal at Soby's and this is our go-to restaurant whenever we see a show at the Peace Center. We both ordered from the restaurant week menu: she-crab soup, salmon, and caramel semi-freddo. The salmon special was a large portion and so flavorful. The she-crab soup was also excellent. This is the first restaurant I always suggest to visitors as they always provide great service plus exceptional and innovative dishes.

We are from Atlanta and were in town for a show at the Peace Center. It’s been years since we’ve been here but we would not miss an opportunity to go to Sony’s. Everything is always delicious no matter what is on the menu. We will be back!!
