Solé Restaurant and Wine Bar is situated in a 150 year old Seagram’s building, minutes west of the Waterloo Uptown Core. The interior soars two stories high to a timber frame ceiling, exposed brick and generous wood finishes, set the tone for an elegant yet casual experience.

The menu will transport your palate to a bistro somewhere in Europe. Items ranging from fresh-baked pizzas, pastas, vegetarian entrées, steaks, and seafood will satisfy any appetite. An extensive award winning wine list, great selection of Scotch, local and imported beers on tap complement the experience. Service is professional yet friendly.     I order the chicken pasta. This was delicious. The quantity was just right. Very flavourful. Would order again. Our waitress was so nice and friendly. It was a very enjoyable luncheon with a good friend.

    I had my birthday dinner at the restaurant. It was our first time at the place and everything was outstanding. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was good. Definitely a top-notch spot to for a special occasion.

    It was a delight having a late lunch at Sole. From the the moment we stepped through the door - we were greeted so warmly, led to a perfect table, had a bit of a tough time choosing our meals but totally enjoyed every bite. We will be back!

    Special accolades to the Pizza chef! This professional gives attention to every order He is constantly cleaning and organizing his work station. His perfection ending up on our dining table ad was superb! He’s part of Sole’s soul!

    Delicious benedict. Could have added a few more fries but great food as always. They catered to our celiac friend and were super friendly and accommodating. Olivia was a wonderful server and we were really impressed with her service. Thank you!

    Ladies lunch today for some sensitive discussions. Server was polite and not too intrusive. Gave us plenty of time and space. Was pleasantly surprised by the brunch menu offered Saturdays and Sundays. Delicious eggs Benedict. Highly recommend.

    We enjoyed our Sole dinner after not being there for so long! We sat in the bar area for new years eve as was the only available spot. It was nice, great service and food was tasty! The chicken pasta had huge bacon pieces and was really good. The chicken sandwich was on a flatbread and tasty. The salsa Verde was very tart, wasn't my favorite but got it on the side. Music was a bit strange. Had a quieter, older demographic vibe as compared to Bauer Kitchen. Overall would recommend for a nice dinner out in Waterloo!
