Due to limited Capacity there will be a 2 hours limit per seating if needed. Also tables are assigned on a first come basis.

Located in the heart of Downtown Freehold Borough, we deliver a memorable dining experience. With a pleasant atmosphere and delicious unique dishes, yours will surely be a night to remember.

In the Fall of 2005, Piergiorgio Ceciarelli opened a restaurant with a goal - to serve the best food with the warmest service and atmosphere. Piergiorgio Ceciarelli has been a restaurateur for 30 years. He started in South Florida where he built a reputation for excellent food, warm and fun atmosphere, and genuine heartfelt service. Winning the award for Best Restaurant Owner 2001. Citi Link said…always has a warm smile when he greets you and a grateful thank you when he bids you Ciao& at the end of a meal. Originally from Rome, he has lived in California, Mexico, Florida, and now New Jersey, where he resides with his wife and children.

I ordered the lasagna and the portion size was very little with very little ricotta between the layers. It was $29. I didn’t think it was worth it. I have eaten at Solo quite a few times. First time I was disappointed. The waitress was very pleasant. This was a Sunday afternoon around 4 pm. Don’t think we’re going back I could have gone to Mezza Luna in Manalapan and gotten a full meal with dessert for their early bird special for $13.95

Love everything about this place. Good Italian dishes on the menu, with specials offered nightly. All are always very good. The veal meatballs is one of our favorite appetizers, along with pasta specials. Restaurant is comfortable and inviting. The icing on the cake (or filling in the canolli) is the warm welcome from the owner, Giorgio, and staff to all their customers. A neighborhood gem. We wish Solo continued well-deserved success.

What a delicious meal we had at Solo Trattoria. I went with my 2 best friends and we truly enjoyed our meal. It was Christmas time and the restaurant and downtown Freehold looked so festive. Highly recommend.

We love dining at Solo. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. We recently moved to another state and came back on business. We were able to meet friends for dinner at Solo and it did not disappoint. Wish we could find a restaurant like Solo in our new town
