Sopra, an American Bistro, opened in the spring of 2008 with the goal of serving fresh and delicious Italian-American bold flavored foods, with global influence, in a fun and lively setting that makes our guests feel at home from the moment they walk in the door. Located on Main Street in the heart of downtown, Sopra Bistro combines the laid back atmosphere of Lake Geneva with the dynamic feel of Lincoln Park, Chicago.
The warm wooden barstools, chairs and tables create a harmonious balance of elegant American bistro and a comfortable neighborhood bar.

    Overall a very nice meal. I wasn’t super impressed with my pasta but the appetizer and soup were delicious. The dessert (the layered chocolate creme) was to die for. We were in the upstairs dining room and it was nice and quiet compared to the downstairs.

    This is one of my favorite restaurants when visiting the Lake Geneva area! It's in the heart of downtown and has great food and drinks as well as ambiance!! I love the Sopratini!!

    The best ribeye I’ve ever had. The taste was magnificent. Friendly and accommodating staff. I consider Sopata to be the best restaurant in the whole area and I’ve been going up to this area for 40 plus years. You won’t go wrong by going to Sopra’s.

    First visit to Sopra. The food was excellent, top notch! Service was very efficient. Tighter sitting space so the noise level was above average in our opinion but the Ambiance was still comforting. Would highly recommend.

    The food and service at Sopra Bistro was wonderful, but the ambiance was lacking. Not only is it WAY too dark to really read the menu, the fact that the lighting, however dim, continually changed as it seemed someone was leaning on the switch throughout our evening. The noise level was far too over the top. They definitely need something to absorb some sound. It was very distracting to the enjoyment of the meal.

    Enjoyed ‘Sandpiper Air’ chicken confit wings to start. Followed by the ‘why so serious?’ Scallops and the ‘glamorama’ fillet medallions. All super flavorful. Presentation was fantastic. Everything was as menu described. Portions were plentiful. Did not leave hungry. Finished the night with a dessert that I can’t recall what it was called.
